A series of full-body workouts designed to build athletic strength, increase muscle tone and push you to get fitter and stronger for everyday life. Drawing inspiration from sports conditioning and performance training, LES MILLS FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH™ will challenge you with new and clever movements to improve your power and athleticism. It will help you feel strong, but athletic – and feel better at everything you do.
Each workout makes use of a resistance band and a selection of weights (you can use a barbell or hand weights). The LES MILLS SMARTBAR™ and SMARTBAND™ are ideal, and if you have the SMARTSTEP™ bench it will be put to good use too. Check out our equipment shop to get your gear. We suggest starting with workout one and progressing through the six workouts at a pace that works for you.
Aim to do no more than 2-3 strength workouts a week and avoid strength training on consecutive days.
